Less demanding in technical terms than simultaneous interpreting
,
consecutive interpreting, often referred to erroneously as "consecutive translation", is employed above all during meetings between a reduced number of participants. Without headphones, the consecutive interpreter takes notes and
interprets the speakers' orations during periods of approx. five to twenty minutes.
Consecutive interpreting is particularly suited to: - Press conferences
- Diplomatic meetings
- Product or service presentations
In addition to our standard Spanish - English interpreting service, Dixon Servicios Lingüísticos, SL, provides
consecutive interpreting services in a wide range of languages, including:
Catalan, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish and Portuguese.
For further information about our consecutive interpreting services or to request a non-binding quote for your
interpreting project
