In general, the cost of interpreting services depends on seven factors:

- The number of interpreters required
- The language combinations required
- The complexity of the subject matter
- The duration of the interpreting service
- The type of sound equipment required
- The location of the interpreting service
- The date(s) of the interpreting service

The date(s) of the interpreting service

The language interpreting sector (and above all the simultaneous interpreting sector) is subject to certain seasonal influences: there are more events (conferences, courses, congresses, seminars, etc.) held during the spring months than during other periods of the year, for example. As a consequence, it is often more to difficult -and more expensive- to organise teams of interpreters at short notice during this period. For this reason, we highly recommend booking interpreting services with the greatest possible advance notice.
