Is it advisable to supply the interpreter with reference material prior to an interpretation service?
The answer to the above question can only be "yes, it is highly advisable to supply the interpreter with reference material prior to an interpreting service". The success of an interpretation service depends to a large extent on how well it has been prepared. By providing the
necessary reference material (speaches, order of the day, documentation, etc.) prior to the interpreting service, we are enabling the interpreter to prepare
his/her work in the best possible manner.
