- The type of sound equipment required
- The location of the interpreting service
- The date(s) of the interpreting service

The language combinations required

Dixon provides interpreting services covering wide range of language combinations (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, German, French, Polish, for example). However, as a result of the extremely technical nature of simultaneous interpreting (sometimes called "simultaneous translation") and the relatively small number of professional simultaneous interpreters available at any one moment, the configuration at short notice of certain language combinations may present difficulties. We therefore strongly recommend the booking of simultaneous interpreting services with the greatest possible advance notice.
