- The source and target languages - The volume of the original texts - The format of the original documents and the translated documents - The timescale of the project - The complexity of the texts
The timescale of translation projects
Urgent translation projects sometimes require several translators and Project Managers to work outside normal office hours and/or at weekends and during holiday periods. Naturally, these additional costs are reflected in the quotations that we issue for these
projects.
Urgent translation projects may involve a very short deadline in relation to the amount of text to be
translated and/or the work required on the document format of the original/translated texts. To give examples: the
translation of over 3000 words in PDF format in less than 24 hours, 300 words in Freehand format in 1 hour etc.
